About Censea

Censea Business Services ("Censea") was created in early 2013. The practice is owned and run by Jane Chamberlain, FICB, PM. Dip.

Jane is a Chartered Insurer (ACII), has a BA (Hons) in Economics and was made a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in 2018. She spent over twenty years in various roles within the financial sector, with sixteen years in a multi-national company, culminating in senior management posts.

Jane has now turned her energies and skills to her strong interest in personal finances and small businesses, especially sole traders. With an aptitude for helping people to clarify and organise their finances, Jane believes that by ensuring finances are properly managed, life can be made more enjoyable with more time to focus on building a business and to spend with family.

Jane is trained, qualified, and well experienced in the use of both Xero and Sage Accounts Production Advanced software. She is a Xero Tax Specialist, both for personal tax and Limited Company Year End Tax Returns and Statutory Accounts under the FRS105 certification. Jane is further certified for Payroll, Making Tax Digital, and Xero Migration.

Importantly, Jane ensures that she keeps up her Continuing Professional Development in all relevant fields.

With the assistance of Andrew Chamberlain, MBCS CITP, Censea Business Services can also provide clients with guidance on the selection and integration of appropriate business IT services. Andrew is a member of the British Computer Society  and a Chartered IT Professional. He has been working and consulting in IT since 1981, with almost twenty years in the area of banking, financial, and small business systems.

Censea is a practice registered with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), number 13713, ensuring the highest quality of professionalism and ongoing maintenance of standards. It also means that the practice has access to regular updates of the latest tax and financial updates and a wide pool of expert knowledge to draw upon should a particularly unusual situation arise.
